| Hope Christian Academy HCA is a ministry of Hope Baptist Church on the south end of Bradford County. We are located about 10 miles east of Starke, FL and 8 miles west of Keystone Heights, FL. Early Education We combine A Beka, Links to Literacy, and our own style to create an atmosphere of love, play and learning in our early education division. We welcome visitors to tour our classrooms and meet our teachers. Elementary and Middle HCA uses the A Beka curriculum in our elementary and middle divisions to build a solid foundation in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Students begin writing cursive in first grade and are reading by the time they leave our pre-kindergarten classes. We teach every subject every day of the week. All subjects are emphasized at HCA, not just the ones that will be on state tests. High School Our high school division uses the A.C.E. Curriculum. Students work at their own pace and learn self discipline as well as important study skills that will carry them through adult hood. The curriculum is personalized so that students are working at the level they are most comfortable with. Even though A.C.E. is typically a self-paced system, we hold daily algebra classes taught by our high school teacher and principal. Our high school teacher is highly skilled in chemistry and math and provides the support needed to complete the science and math credits needed for graduation. Computers are used to teach foreign language, reading, and technology. Our program allows those that are highly motivated to excel and those that struggle the opportunity to succeed. After taking the College Placement Test, our students are able to Dual Enroll at Santa Fe Community College. |

We endeavor to provide academic excellence from a Christian view that will equip each child to be successful in all areas of life. We hold to the truth that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, eternal Word of God.
